Community Day Care Centers are very popular in many countries through out the world. Community centers are privately run and usually must meet minimum government requirements to operate. In Pakistan, community based centers are just beginning to develop, and new centers are opening up every day to meet the demand for care.
“Family Resource Center” (FRC) is a Catco Kids’ community based project, providing integrated Early Childhood Education and health services in poor communities. The first FRC model was set up in April 2007 at Chashma Goth, Karachi in a 2-room Government school building where children were being provided both, with Early Childhood Education and after school tuition that help them enter and stay in school successfully. The center currently helps over 75 children and since its inception, has helped more than several hundred.
We welcome funding agencies & partners to collaborate with us hand in hand to replicate FRC models in different cities of Pakistan.
